Triple Dice Score Sheet

Privacy policy

Last updated: 24 September 2026

In short

  • The app asks for no account. Your players, scores, history and statistics stay on your device.
  • The free version shows ads served by a third party, which may use an advertising identifier you control in your device settings.
  • This site sets nothing non-essential before you agree, and you can change your mind at any time.

1. What this policy covers

This policy covers two separate things: the mobile app Triple Dice Score Sheet, published on the App Store and Google Play, and this website, which exists to present the app.

The app and this site are published by David Colin, the data controller. Write to contact@colindavid.net with any question or to exercise your rights.

This site previously lived at triple13roundsscoresheet.colindavid.net. That address now redirects here, so versions of the app that still link to it open this same policy.

2. The app: what stays on your device

The app works offline and has no sign-up. Player names and colours, scores, game history, statistics and your settings, including the Yatzee bonus rule you chose, are written to your device’s local storage and are not sent to us. We run no server that holds your games, and have no way to read them.

Deleting the app deletes this data. If your device backs itself up (iCloud, Google backup), the app’s data may be included in that backup, under the terms of the service you enabled, not ours.

Two things do leave the device, and neither carries your scores. The app reports which screens are opened, so we know which features are used, and it sends a crash and performance report when something fails or slows down, containing the device model, system version and the app’s state at that moment. Both go to Firebase, by Google, listed in section 5.

3. Advertising in the free version

The free version is funded by ads, served by Google AdMob, not by us. To show and count ads, the ad network may process your device’s advertising identifier, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and technical information about the device.

On first launch the app asks for your choice. On iOS it first shows the system’s tracking permission: if you decline, ads are non-personalised and nothing else is asked. You can change this permission at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking. Where the law requires it, notably in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom, the app then shows Google’s consent form for personalised advertising. Declining does not remove ads: it makes them non-personalised. To be asked again, delete and reinstall the app, or write to us.

The optional Premium subscription removes advertising entirely, and with it the identifier processing described above. Purchases are handled by Apple or Google Play and we never see your payment details; RevenueCat, listed in section 5, checks the receipt so the app knows your subscription is active.

4. Cookies on this site

When you arrive, only strictly necessary storage is used. Measurement scripts are not loaded at all until you accept them, and refusing takes one click, with the same weight as accepting.

Measurement data is processed by Google, which may transfer it outside the European Union under the transfer safeguards it publishes. IP addresses are anonymised. We use no advertising cookies on this site and sell no data.

Changed your mind? Clearing your saved choice brings the cookie banner back.

This site also reads your browser’s preferred language on arrival to offer the English or French page. Nothing is stored for this.

5. Who processes data for us

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you can ask for access to the data held about you, its correction or deletion, object to processing, or withdraw a consent you gave. Since the app keeps your games on your own device and this site only holds aggregate measurement, there is usually very little to send you, which is precisely the point.

Write to contact@colindavid.net and we will reply within one month. You can also lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority; in France, that is the CNIL.

7. Children

The app suits family play and asks for no personal information about any player: a first name typed on the score sheet stays on the device. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

8. Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. A change to what we ask your consent for will bring the cookie banner back.
